40 Thoughts You Have During Pure Barre

Recently, I started to get back into the flow of working out and *attempting* to be healthy. I know, I know... but New Year's resolutions are a real thing y'all. After searching around, I finally came to the conclusion that Pure Barre was the right workout class for me and I realized that if I scheduled my classes beforehand I wouldn't back out of working out as easily. Fast-forward to my first class... lets just say OUCH - my body has never hurt like this before. 

That being said, here are 40 thoughts I had during Pure Barre:

1. I'm going to sit in the back so no one can see if I'm doing it wrong.
2. Oh wait, that girl grabbed a bunch of equipment.. do I do that too?
3. They're only grabbing 2 lb weights? I can definitely do more than that.
4. OoOo the teacher is putting her headset on.. GET READY!
5. Okay, knee lifts.
6. Crap! I'm off-beat.
7. Do I look uncoordinated?
8. Hold up.. did she just say 90 SECOND PLANK?!?
9. Tuck AND plank at the same time??? WHAT DO YOU THINK I AM?
10. Push-ups after a 90 second plank? This girl is trying to kill me. 
11. oh lovely, pulsing.
12. THANK JESUS WE ARE DONE
13. Lets move to legs, my absolute favorite!! Sooo easy. 
14. Okay, so I put this band on and just move my leg up and down.. not too complicated.
15. MY THIGHS!! why are they shaking?!?
16. "Hold it"... 1,2,3,4, okay I can't do this anymore. 
17. Time for seat work.. does she mean the booty?
18. YAAS, let's get it. I want that Instagram model butt from the explore page.
19. oh, no.. is my standing leg supposed to feel like this? 
20. Here comes the teacher. I must be doing something wrong.
21. She just moved me.. I am 100% confident that I cannot recreate that movement again. 
22. Hold it?! IT HURTS.
23. ... we've only been working the right side so far...
24. She said my name! I must be doing a good job!!
25. I better have buns of steel after this. 
26. okay, done with seat, basically done with class right?
27. OMG I completely forgot abs...
28. Why is tucking such a painful movement?
29. Diamonds are not a girls best friend, they hurt. 
30. WHY CAN'T I GO ON MY TOES IN DIAMOND AND NOT SPREAD MY LEGS SO FAR APART?
31. YAAAS. Finally, a workout I can get behind, laying on the floor. 
32. Why'd she turn the lights down?
33. HIP RAISES! Finally, something I feel confident in! 
35. DIAMOND AGAIN?!
36. Now I realize why she turned the lights down.. 
37. WE ARE DONEEE.
38. Oh God, I'm the least flexible person here.
39. This wasn't actually that bad... I feel like Beyonce.
40. I LOVE PURE BARRE. Let's do this again!
